Ben came home with a project to make you buggy: create an insect model. I asked him what he wanted to do, and he decided on a mosquito (!). I went online to get some ideas, and found this one (it's about 2/3 ways down). When I viewed the pattern, I realized I could use my punches to do the same thing without having to hand cut anything (I really don't like to hand cut much!).
His body is basic black and made using the 1 1/4 and 1 3/4 inch circles with the word window for the tail. The wings are punched from gable green using the wide oval punch and attached with brads. Then Ben punched 1/8 inch holes using the Crop-a-dile to put on the antenna, legs and mouth. For a mosquito, he's actually kinda cute!
Wish shoe stampin' fun!
