I thought I would bring you a little visual representation of the items in the 12 Days of {Stampin' Up!} Christmas! There are some great deals - if you don't already have a Big Shot, you may want to add it to your list!

Like we really need another idea for our top note die, but I have one for you anyway!
This one involves a bit of cutting by hand, but sometimes it's worth it! I die cut three top note dies - real red, confetti white, and Merry Moments Designer series paper. I cut on the seam line of the confetti white and printed sheet, then halved the printed sheet and assembled. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations then cut it out. Using our ornament punch, I punched a garden green ornament and used it to back the stamped ornament. I used both our whisper white satin (soon to be available in a lot more colors) and whisper white grosgrain ribbon in our large grommet. Fun, don't you think?

I found this tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, and just had to incorporate it into this year's Holiday Gifts & Wraps class! I plan to make it a bit larger so I can use it for a gift card!
I used my favorite neutral, kraft cardstock, for the base of the matchbook, then stamped the snowflakes from Snow Swirled in more mustard, ruby red and elegant eggplant. The die cut is from our snowflakes set #2, which includes four sizzlet dies.

So I have a lot going on this week with a workshop, class and craft fair, but I had to share the holiday card we're doing tonight!
It's one of my favorite holiday color schemes, bashful blue, brocade blue, and night of navy, with our top note die and Medallion stamp. The sentiment is from our Hostess collection, level 2. Simple, fast and perfect for a workshop - have you booked yours???

I have a sneak peek for my next holiday card class November 6at 6:30 pm. I even used more traditional colors, at least for these two.
The first card combines the Medallion stamp with our bird from the Birds & blooms sizzlets. It also uses real red and crushed curry. (Note to self: make sure to poke out the bird's eye before sending!)
For this one, I used our ornament punch to make a stencil! However, I will provide the Stamp-a-ma-jig at the class for matching the stamp with the punch better!

I have to admit something - I just had to use crushed curry in something. It just feels so golden to me! I used our new Perfect details texturz plate for the kraft cardstock, then added the bird from birds & blooms sizzlets. I really just wanted a reason to use the crushed curry dotted ribbon!
In case you don't know, Lovely as a tree is one of may favorite stamp sets of all time. I hesitated to purchase it thinking I would not use it much, but it's great for so many card-giving occasions! I stamped the trees in night of navy on our Top note die and added a ribbon pull from our Stylized silver hodgepodge hardware.
And here we are to my absolute favorite! Did you know that this stamp, Medallion, is the best selling stamp in this catalog? It is so versatile and just plain beautiful! I stamped the image, along with the snowflake and sentiment from Short & sweet, in whisper white craft ink. The larger snowflake from Best wishes & more is again in white on night of navy with a scallop punch. The ribbon is our whisper white satin - great for holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and more!

I really enjoyed the Zonta event Thursday night - the group is friendly and dedicated and eager to help! It was also nice to spend an evening with adult conversation, especially when talking stamping! However, it would have gone much better if I had remembered my stamping wheel! I had planned two cards (you can see my favorite here), but after realizing that I'd forgotten the wheel, I was glad I had a second option.
This was my first design - I used the flourish from Baroque motifs with basic gray ink on basic gray cardstock, then popped out the flower burst embosslit with crushed curry. A simple silver brad in the center finishes it off. Very simple, and this color combination has been one of my recent favorites.
I wanted to offer another option using the Big Shot embosslits, so I cut one of the cherry blossoms out in regal rose and created the same card. I like this one a lot too, but I can't decide! Which one is your favorite?

I couldn't resist the lure of the purples! This card mixes our Cottage wall Designer series paper with our Birds & blooms sizzlet. I haven't used orchid opulence much in recent years, but I love how it coordinates with the rich razzleberry! How pretty!
As you can tell, I was on a bit of a purple kick when I was making my class samples! This project uses our scallop envelope die, but I extended it to make the envelope large enough to fit a gift card. The belly band is simply the other side of the Perfect plum patterns Designer series paper with a cherry blossom embosslit in pale plum with a clear rhinestone in the center. I don't know about you, but you just can't go wrong with purple!

Here's a couple more projects we're doing tomorrow evening at my Big Shot class. I love how easy it is to to use!
Isn't this adorable? It uses our scallop die #2 with little leaves sizzlet for a nice ornament or gift tag. I also ran the scallop through our texturz die for some added interest, and I just had to use our new colors, melon mambo and crushed curry. It's not traditional, but I love it!
This stamp set, Baroque Motifs, is one of my favorites!!! I paired it up with the scallops from our Birds & blooms sizzlets and added our Blue bead duo for some fun. The sentiment is stamped in bashful blue craft ink, which is why it shows up so well on the chocolate chip cardstock.
