How lucky am I!

No, it's not St. Patrick's Day, but I'm feeling lucky!  When I opened my email this morning, I found an email from my up-up-up-upline, Connie Heisey (did you know we can earn downline income for up to five levels?).  She sends out invitations ever so often for stamping occasions at her house, but unfortunately, she lives in Pennsylvania!  Maybe one of these days I'll get out that way, but for now, it's nice that she includes me and sends me great ideas, like the one below.

Isn't it just adorable???  I also get emails from Janet Wakeland, my up-up-upline, who loves purple almost as much as I do!  I love getting emails from her as well because she sends LOTS of ideas!  Her last email focused on our Night and Day Designer series paper in our Holiday mini brochure. 

This one is great too!  Rather than leave it black and white, Janet took pumpkin pie ink to it and changed it to reflect the season!  Spooky! 

If you are thinking about joining, you'll want an organization that is growing, and one that has lots of support!  I know that I can contact at least four levels up and get great tips, support, advice, and more!  If you'd like to be part of a great company and even better upline, contact me for more information!

Make your child the envy of all others!

Have you sent a card with your child's lunchbox?  Has that child complained that it wasn't all that great, or not as good as Sally's or Joe's?  Probably not, but you can avoid this situation easily!  Check out this Stampin' Up! video:

Isn't that the best? While I know kids would love whatever you created for them, there is that little motivation to do it great! Have you seen this?

Soon after convention ended, there was a blog post by Paper Crafts magazine about our convention.  I kept meaning to include this, but so much goes on in the stampin' world that it completely slipped my mind!  So I wanted to bring your attention to this entry on the magazine's blog.

 

While there are lots of pictures of the convention set-up and stampin' faces, this entry showcases one of the things I missed most about not being able to attend convention: the samples!

 

There are several of these there and they are just amazing!  I copy them to a file on my hard drive and use them for ideas when I'm stuck, which seems to be quite often!  I hope you are inspired!  And if this gets you interested in joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator so you can attend convention next year, make sure to contact me for information!

More than stamps...

When you are a demonstrator, there are Logo items available with our brand that are just for purchase by demonstrators.  I wanted to share a couple with you because they really are a great benefit to being part of the company!

 

Isn't this just beautiful???  I love this cardigan and have put it on my wish list!  The Stampin' Up! name is in the bottom corner with an image from our Sweet Thoughts stamp set.  And it also comes in rose red...now which one do I love more???

 

Most women feel lost without their manicure set (ever broke a nail on the run?  it's so frustrating!) so this is the perfect set!  It uses prints from our Thoroughly Modern Designer series paper for a fun, fashionable case.

 

This one really caught my attention!  This ornament is fashioned after our Delightful decorations stamp set in our Holiday mini brochure.  It is really heavy and larger than it looks - I can't wait to see what it looks like on my tree (and to hear my husband's reaction!) later this year!

Stampin' Up! in the news

Soon after our recent convention, an article appeared in the Deseret News from Salt Lake City about the special announcements and activities.  You can see the article here. 

 

This picture above shows the huge room where we do the make n takes.  It was one of my favorite events - besides getting new stamps, finding the goodies at lunch, trading ideas with others, learning new ideas, sharing suggestions...

 

This is another one of my favorite things - the endless idea boards!  There are so many submissions for contests and ideas that Stampin' Up! can color coordinate the boards beautifully! 

If, after reading the article by Carma Wadley and seeing the pictures by Michael Brandy, you think you might want to attend next year, by all means join!  Our current mini kit is perfect, or our standard kit, with an additional SIX ink pads and multi-colored package of paper, is even better for starting a business for fun or financial aid.  This could be the stimulus you need!

Lookin' forward to the new catalog???
