Tonight is my Open House and I am so excited about the projects!  You can see the first two samples here, and I have the last three below.  They use some great new stamp sets and accessories, as promised!

 

This one uses our Animal Stories stamp set, a new one that is part of this month's Just for Kids promotion.  I also used the Tall Tales designer series paper that coordinates - this would be a good child card, or for someone who likes elephants, or for someone who is forgetful (you know, elephants never forget!).  I applied ink to the bottom with plastic wrap - how easy is that?

This next one uses our Vintage Ornaments #1 Decor Stencil.  Notice how it's not a Christmas card, but wouldn't it be nice with holiday colors and an ornament?  I used our texturz dies on the not quite navy, and Stampin' Write markers for the sentiment from Thank you kindly.  

This last one features a hostess level 2 stamp set, Asian Artistry.  I punched a 1 3/4 inch circle from melon mambo, then removed a bit with our 1 inch circle punch.  The stamp is embossed in gold and then colored with inks and a blender pen.  It's an easy card with a bit of bling!

Sale-a-brating the new catalog Friday night!

This Friday I am going to share some great ideas for several of our new products, including Sale-a-bration!  For just $10, you'll create five projects (at least three of which are cards) using new stuff (embosslits, textured dies, stamp sets, buttons, ribbon, wheels, etc). 

This one totally CASE's the one from the new video for demo's (have I told you I love being a demo because I get access to technique videos just for us???).  The layout is the same - I changed the flower (that was so easy, embossed and cut at the same time!), the DSP, and the button (just baja breeze instead of so saffron).  But I have a thing for 3x3 love notes, so this one is perfect!

When I saw this stamp set (Once upon a time), I knew I just had to have it - great for weddings, anniversaries, girls, Disney trips, Valentine's...I wanted to add some bling, but I wanted something other than our dazzling diamonds, so used some of our chunky glitter.  Too much?  I don't think so...

Okay, I LOVE my texturz plates!  Yes, that's what made the imprint on the bottom!  I can't wait to use the other plates - they are so easy and fast but have so much impact.  Plus, I've used three Sale-a-bration items - polka dot punches stamp set, ribbon bundle, and Designer dots paper.

How did I forget the other projects at my Open House???

Well, I was so excited about sharing the In Color combinations we have available that I didn't share the other two projects we made!  I really like this one because it looks like I am looking out a window at several butterflies!  It does involve cutting with scissors, which I don't do often, but I really like the look.  Plus I really like brocade blue and bashful blue with the chocolate chip.  And it uses Flight of the butterfly, one of the stamp sets we received at convention. 

And I told you that I was going to play with my Big Shot and create a card, which I did, then used it for my New catalog open house.  I had seen cards and projects created using night of navy and certainly celery together, so I just had to create one myself!  Everyone at my open house created two 3x3 cards, same size but with different colored flowers.  We used the new Patterns pack that is a level one hostess gift, and sentiments from Everyday flexible phrases and Hugs & wishes.  We also used the birds and blooms Sizzlit dies with the Big Shot to create the flowers. I think I'll have to play with this color combination some more - it's striking, don't you think?
