Projects by Parcel Post, 9th ed.

Since the Designer Series Papers are a major part of this month's promotions, I added them to this month's project.  It's a simple envelope scrapbook that can be tucked in a purse, diaper bag, glove box, etc. For $15, you receive all consumable supplies to complete this project.

This is going to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day (her favorite color is blue), but this would also be great for a man in your life.  I used Washington Apple Designer Series papers and pulled in Oval All stamp set on the front. 

When the book is open, there is room for three pictures, notes, etc.  I used the letters for each child in the punched circles, but you could use phrases, flowers, whatever!

I kept Grace's simple, only using one color scheme.  You'll find that all the inserts have a riding hood red button from our Button Bouquet in order to assist in pulling out (and it's just pretty!). 

Ben's could use more color since he wore very neutral colors.  So I used a stripe and backed it with some tearing (a simple effective masculine technique). 

Andrew's is probably my favorite - there's so much interest going on with his page!  I really like mixing the prints and simply separated it with a thin strip (now I know why I keep these things.

Projects by Parcel Post, 8th ed.

This month I used a stamp set from our Occasions mini brochure, Sense of time.  I really like this one!  It is so versatile - graduation, masculine, wedding, anniversary.  Maybe it's just because my kids have been working on clocks so I've been seeing them a lot lately, but I really like this one!

So as before, there are two cards, and the basic kit (called Want it!), comes with the consumable supplies to create five of each design for $15 shipped.  Now, I've heard from some of you that you'd like to have the supplies to create the cards as shown, so I created a Need it! kit that includes the non-consumables (Sense of time stamp set, chocolate chip and taken with teal Classic ink pads, and versamark pad).  This kit is $64.50 and includes the pre-cut and consumable supplies.  If you just Gotta have it all! (the big kit!), this kit includes all the supplies to complete the projects many times over!  You could probably make close to 40 cards for the $88.75 cost, plus have the ink pads, stamp set, and leftover ribbon and brads for other projects.  Plus they all include a pdf file for completing the cards.

Just in time for spring and Easter is this month's class by mail.  I used Refuge and Strength instead of a more traditional bunny, but I really like it!  And I had to incorporate the new Tea Set Designer Series papers since they scream spring to me!  The kit includes supplies to create five each of two designs with envelopes for $15, including shipping.

This one is on a base of almost amethyst with pretty in pink matting the center image.  I wrapped the printed paper with narrow grosgrain ribbon in so saffron, using all the colors that are found in the print.  Then I stamped the leaves around the edges in almost amethyst for more interest.

This one has a pretty in pink cardstock base with certainly celery matting the main image.  I also used the so saffron grosgrain ribbon from Sale-a-bration.  On a side note, you are going to laugh.  I was getting this post ready and saw a picture on my computer that looked so similar to this one.  I was so afraid that I had copied exactly someone else's work!  Then I realized it was one of my own filed pictures!  Sometimes I am so blond (not really, but it runs in the family)!

Projects by Parcel Post, 6th ed.

For this month, I am showcasing a Sale-a-bration set, Botanical blooms, along with the ribbon bundle.  You will create five each of two cards, so you get ten cards for $15 with envelopes.  I've also used some of the Raspberry Tart Designer Series paper, with the coordinating colors rose red, pretty in pink, and certainly celery.   This first one doesn't have a sentiment, so you could use it for just about any occasion. 

This second one uses the sentiment that comes with the stamp set.  I think this would be good for a birthday (as in "treat yourself"), but I am not sure what else.  Any ideas for reasons to give a card with sentiment?  Leave a comment and let me know!

With the holidays only a couple months away, this month's edition had to be holiday themed!  So I chose Snow swirled because, well, it's just so pretty and versatile.  And I kept to more traditional holiday colors, using Riding hood red, Old olive, and Certainly Celery.  I had thought to use blues because of the snowflakes, but I think this worked out well!  And since you are making two of each of the five designs for just $15 including shipping, you get one to keep for ideas and one to give!

Projects by Parcel Post, 3rd ed.

I just love this set we received from convention called Best wishes & more!  It is so versatile - you can create cards for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's, thinking of you, and more!  So I used this one to come up with this month's mail class.  Of course, you can substitute other sets, but I think you'll find like I have that this set is a keeper!  And this class is a perfect start - for $15, you create 2 each of 5 designs with envelopes, one to keep for ideas and one to give!

The first one is a simple birthday card using the flower from this set.  It also uses Riding hood red, always artichoke, and whisper white cardstock and striped riding hood red ribbon. 

The second card is a simple one for a birthday as well, using my new favorite neutral, kraft!  I really like how easy it is to pair this color with just about any color.  I know you'll be seeing it more in coming classes!  This one mixes summer sun, always artichoke and riding hood red in a flower collage. 

 This next one is a not-so-ordinary holiday card, though you could also use the flower or leaf from this set if desired.  This one adds in not quite navy with the previous colors. 

This is one of my favorites!  I love the matching colored square scallop punch with the leaf!  It is quite a generic card so could work for a number of things!  Again, I think you'll be seeing this idea soon!

 Finally this one is a great Valentine's Day or anniversary card!  I know it's a little early, but that gives you plenty of time to make it, so there's no rush!  This one adds pink pirouette, one of my new favorites, to the color palette.
